Instead of calling those who post here "posters", I've decided to call them "panelists". As part of the part 15 experience I think it's interesting to compare panelists for their individual styles of paneling.
One type that always entertains me during their brief stopovers are the ones who open the door on absolute declarations about how things are or how things should be, but upon the first tiny trace of disagreement are out the door with a loud slam and to hell with the rest of us.
I do wish they'd stay awhile longer so we could learn how they came to have the viewpoints they do, or who sent them here to start an uproar, or how they came to lack social skills and the normal ability to hold a two-way conversation.
If any past panelists who've resigned in contempt for our polite way of holding a two-way exchange happen to read this, please consider returning with at least enough tolerance to carry us through a few rounds of getting to know who you are and why you'd declare all-out war so quickly.
Do you operate radio stations or work in the broadcast industry?
Explain the experience and thought process that results in your present point of view about this hobby.
Where else do you panel and how are those relationships working out?
Not knowing for sure, I would guess that we here at part 15 are some of the nicest people you will ever meet.
Neil
I too was saddened with the recent departures. I may have been hasty challenging what I perceived as inaccurate information with my inaccuate information.
