Two Frequency's
Hi guys! ๐ Hope ya'll had pleanty of turkey. We had all we wanted to eat at my house. I have another question . Can I put two antenna's on the same tower on different frequency's? I was thinking we could do two stations (ie. 1610 and 1700) with different content with just a little more work. In talking to people in this small town it seems to be split between rock and country. I guess what I am asking would they bleed? We are still in the planning stage and content seems to be the only problem. I am still learning abut LPAM. If it wasn't for this PART15 web site I would still be in the dark. ๐ Thanks in advance for your help. Dan ๐
Hmm... The only possible problem I see right off is that the antennas themselves will act as directive arrays, thus will affect the radiation patterns of each other, favoring the line that the antennas are aligned in. Or something like that.
But that brings up another interesting possibility. Rather than try to synchronize two separated transmitters/antennas on one frequency, to extend range, put the distant transmitter on a separate frequency, well separated as you propose -- if the channel is clear, a condition I have here and so could do. (For daytime, I have the "X-band" pretty clear here.)
