Since July 19 KDX Worldround Radio has been limping with a broken streaming system that defied my attempts to repair it.
The days around July 19th were very active, with a major update for AdAware AntiVirus, installation and running of Abyss Home Web Server, and a major Winamp Crash when I pushed the wrong button at the wrong time. After that my streaming system would not write to logs nor could I save any changes, and could close it down only by choosing the "End Now-Non-Responsive Program" button.
At the ALPB Meeting Troy TheLegacy mentioned a diagnostic program that a computer specialist told him about, named "ComboFix".
Tonight I downloaded the free program and gave it a spin and minutes later I learned that AdAware was interfering with my streaming system, and everything was fine by removing AdAware.
