im blessed with a lot of mosquitoes. anyone else have experiences with setting up a transmitter in a swamp?
RU in Florida?
The most famous station from a swamp that I ever heard of was WYFR from Okeechobee, Florida, which shut down on June 30, 2013.
WYFR had 14 shortwave transmitters at 100kW each, and garnered worldwide attention when owner Rev. Harold Camping started predicting the end of the world, which did not arrive as forecast.
The swamp seemed to help his transmissions, as they reached out very well.
im in southern new england. i dont run the risk of happening upon a gator or a 20' burmese python in these parts 🙂
*shudders* ... snakes...
The people at TUC Radio, located atop a mountain in the woods of northern California, all wear tall boots in case of snakes.... both indoors and out!
