We are thinking of changing our grey "off the shelf" Procaster case to a custom case. We were thinking of using orange or black or some other colour. Would anyone have an issue with orange? The front label would still be black. This may be trivial, but we would hate to commit to orange if someone had an objection to the greater visibility or something else that we haven't thought of. Input would be appreciated.

I suppose you could offer any color you want as an option but I would not go for an orange box.

Beauty is often in the eye of the beholder and I would behold brown, gray, or green as beauty before orange unless I needed a traffic cone.

Many of us mount our radio gear outdoors in places where we need to have it be as unobtrusive as possible. Gray is fine; especially a light gray. Other possibilities would include off-white or light tan. Even light blue should be fine. It should be a colour that tends to blend in with the sky or the surroundings. For that reason I would avoid any bright or intense colours. I would also avoid black, since it will absorb a lot of heat in bright sunlight and make the box extremely hot, which would be bad for the innards. Pale, lighter colours would do better in this regard. Orange would definitely be a bad idea, though, in my opinion.
