Hi All,
I'm very interested in starting my own Part 15 AM station. But the cost of a brand new Procaster or rangemaster are too much for me. Wondering if anyone would be will to trade my 1 watt fully adjustable PCI MAX 3000+ v3 PC stereo FM transmitter card with small antenna (low range) for an old Procaster or rangemaster? Would even consider a talking house with ATU. Also would be will to throw in a few bucks to make the trade even. I paid $250.00 for the PCI Max 300.
thanks for your help and consideration,
Frank
i'll swap my THv4.6 and ATU straight trade for it. it is listed here for sale in the forums.

Thank you Carl for the tip!
Thats is more than Fair trade .
The TH and it's ATU workd very well , However the SS Tran is even better yet .
It is sold for a very fair price.
not sure what i am going to do with it yet. it is uncertified and capable of quite more than part 15 levels but the power can be set from 0 mW to 1 W. i have the ability to compiance test so maybe i can set it for 250uV/m @ 3m. i have an SA and a EMC dipole now.
I have experimented with one of these PCI Max cards (and still own one, buried somewhere).
The software is astonishly primitive, and doesn't always work. But when it does work, the board produces good sound.
I last played with mine over a year ago, so I'm not sure if there are more up to date drivers. But, at least with mine, you could set the output power from 1% to 100% - down at the lowest level, and with the supplied wire antenna, range fell within what you would expect for U.S. Part 15 FM.
