All I can say is...
you can tell when a game is being broadcast with a phone.
And I can tell you it NEVER sounds good. Phones Have a Nasty Habit of Picking up all the sounds around you.
I would suggest an internet connection. eliminate the phone. use Shoutcast, U stream or something like that.

Depends on the gear. Using an iPhone with an Alesis Protrack for sound input should do just fine.
Having said that, yes I am a Shoutcast user. I need a better laptop, though.
