We don't have a forum category for "Time Machine" but someday we'll be able to go back and add one.
For now the category "Transmitters" will do, since time travel requires transmission of a sort.
This week's Mischke Road Show visits Professor Ronald Mallett, PhD, a theoretical physicist who is working on a time machine.

There are probably many ways a time machine could be used for part 15, such as aiming a broadcast across time, say from here in 2015 your station could transmit to listeners in 1970.
Although phone tarriffs might get in the way, a telephone connection from then to now would allow you to invite callers.
If I could transmit back in time I'd warn all Album Rocker's not to allow Top 40 and Rap to take over the creativeness of the Progressive Rock they enjoy now. I'd play a 30 second sample of the song that talks about I won't uhhh with you and warn them to stop the polution by keeping that junk on AM like it was in the 70's. Sure wish I could do that.
Good idea The Legasy, I'd prefer Heavy sounds, and at least rap can be heavy, but I know what you mean, there's been a wholesale change over to party music. People have always liked top 40, pop, hits, whatever you want to call it, I guess they don't go to their radio to have to think, they want to tune in and drop out, and complicated bands like ELP and Zappa would blow their minds.
Or.. could it be that mainstream radio has force-fed only the hits, because of record company promotion, or to be as not offensive as possible, so as not to lose even one listener?
Nightcrime
Time travel bounced around in my head until I had to invent something, and I came up with a radio discussion which considers a mounting batch of complications that might result from the ability to visit yesterday:

Let me know what ideas come to you upon hearing this.
I try to create that image on my station....an oldies cruise back in time....remembering the good old days. loosing yourself in the songs of the 50s 60s and 70s and tuning out the stuff you hear now, and leaving the real world and going back in yours!
