Very cool!
Facebook denied my access.
That's o.k.
I'm already in contact with Tim right here at part15(dot) us.
Don't need redundancy.
It is a person driving through town listening to his staion.
Thank you John.
Now we'll be sitting by the phone for that same kind of call.
I am on facebook as well but I also have family to stay in touch with.
Remember when families and friends picked up a phone and called each other?
Sometimes they would go to their friends or families house and visit, what happened to those days?
Oh wait yeah now i remember, social media, cost of gas, working more hours to survive.
It's all coming back to me lol
But still cool. Nice setup Tim.
Carl, try logging into your Facebook account first, then click the link for the video above. It did the trick for me.
Doesn't work for me.
Gotta say though, I am mighty impressed with Tim's little station, seems he is filling his own unique niche. Kinda funny seeing his tastes in country music are totally different from mine, which makes his station all that much cooler. Fiddle on Tim.
Thanks marosborne, but I am not on Facebook, it seems like overkill to me.
I've got a website, email, telephone, postal mail, membership here and at thealpb.com, no reason to add other communications avenues, although I like to hear people talk about their experiences with them.
Seems like folks have more time than I do, all the tweeting and texting.
Hey! I couldn't get to that video either, even when logged into Facebook ๐
For those of you who think Facebook replaced the good ol' days of going to visit people for real, or calling on the phone....
My Son is 900 miles away in Topeka with his family and the two cutest grand daughters ever. We see their photos on Facebook on a regular basis. With Facetime the kids are able to call us and show us what they're doing live. He Face Times us from things like the girls dance classes where we get to watch them and cheer them on almost like we were there.
My oldest daughter is thousands of miles away in North Carolina. Daughter three, who has 4 kids is a couple hours away in International Falls, and my other daughter is 200 miles away in Minneapolis. Thinks like Facetime and Facebook make it easy to be an integral part of their lives even though we are miles away. I'm in favor.
Presently actually IN Topeka visiting my Son and his family. Coming to you courtesy of the really good wifi at the Econolodge! Filled the back of the SUV with treasures from a hamfest in Belton, MO yesterday. Always a good time.
Someone actually went through Bovey and posted a video of listening to my station? That's amazing. Gotta figure out how to see that!
Tim in Bovey
(Presently in Topeka, KS)
The video is contained on a closed Facebook group page.
All you should have to do is to join the group (Part 15 AM & FM Radio) - pretty easy to do (although you have a Facebook login). You might even be able to see it if you went directly to the Facebook group page without joining (but not sure about that, and can't test, because I'm already a member).
<Comment deleted because ArtisanRadio above announced the soloution while I was typing this post.>
Those not able to view Tim in Bovey's Facebook video should be able to view his most recent YouTube video on this topic:
The FB video is a guy driving through Bovey listing on his car radio. I like when I'm right and Rich is incorrect.
Roger on that. I have no FB account, so I couldn't check it out beforehand.
What kind of list did the driver in Bovey produce ๐ ?
