I'm sure you know I have been on some of those “other” sites. However I do agree not to mention anything like that on part 15 dot us. As for pushing for the FM Initiative I've decided also to push for it on those sites as those folks may be more interested in getting 1 Watt and under legal. I'm not going for massive amounts 7 Watts, 50 Watts but I just feel like some have pointed out I may get more accomplished on those “other sites”. Its not I don't like this site and I'll try and keep things very basic here 15:209, 15:219 and 15:239 not discussing anything of improving power in any way. I will withdraw any of my opinions I have (if you need to know google Thelegacy, The Legacy or listen to my shows because I do discuss what I really think of hobby Radio and where it is headed). I'll talk about Radio Automation, sound quality, Internet Radio, certified FM and AM transmitters on this site and refrain from any opinions I may have about why we are where we are here again those who have followed me should know me. For the folks who have been talking to me privately about the FM Initiative we can do that and or talk on the pass coded section of the Teamspeak server. Maybe start a Pro FM web site. I won't be a person detrimental to the extinction of the ALPB or this web site because of my opinions. Sorry for any headache I've caused since June 5th 2015 here on part 15 dot us and now I'll just sit quiet and wait. But those who I've talked to we'll keep pressing privately to get something done. Not an attack on you, but I swear this sounds more like a shout out for attention or sympathy.

No my motives was not to get sympathy or attract attention. It was to actually try and ease some thick tension that you could cut with a knife. Thanks for asking. I'll be around. I'm actually starting the movement to see if I can get someone who knows the way to forge ahead with the initiative. So I'm trying to see where Radio hobbyists stand. I hope I'm right and others will join. The rest will be seen at a later point in time.
There is no problem with discussing and promoting the "FM initiative" here as long as it is done without the bashing and negativity which sometimes has occurred.

Great I'll use a more tame version for the Initiative here and maybe a more aggressive version elsewhere like the website with the slogan Free Radio. And to give an update on that still trying to see if I can get some folks to take a look at the idea. I'm sure they could breathe easier if what they do is legal. So that in a nutshell is how I approach that site and its members. Thanks Neil you have given me a good idea that may work too. I also plan on participating in the ALPB meeting as normal.

even though a watt is nothing to get a 'murica boner over, anything that involves more signal should be supported by all of us. people rally for dumber things these days. look at any college campus. theres no reason not to give it the old college try, but not the new college try because the new college try involves turning into an incoherent agitated mess upon hearing an opinion that differs from yours.
Saw a video of a particular moment in the protests at the University of Missouri in Columbia in which a white female communications professor went insane and called for "muscle over here" to forcibly remove a campus news photographer who was documenting the event.
Need I explain why it's massively irrational for a communications professor to try and disable the news media?
Some of the students actually joined her in walking straight into the newsman forcing him to back up.
Madness.
