Some of you might have noticed that the site was unavailable for a short period this morning. First my apologies, sorry for the rude interruption! Second, just wanted to reassure everyone that things are fine.

The exact error message was that 'bandwidth had been exceeded' and the reason was that when we moved the site to a new, faster server, the account was setup with a default 'large' size (which isn't very large 🙂 In any event, it has been solved very quickly and simply - shouldn't happen again.

It does raise a point though that I am supposed to get ample warning before the site runs out of any resource - I will look into this right away and make sure it doesn't happen again.

Cheers!
Jon Paul

RFB (forum member) had tendered an offer earlier before you took over site you may want to get hooked up with him. could very well be a cheaper, still fast, but unlimited disk and bandwidth usage alternative to your current hosting. i am not sure what he had in mind but it may be worth discussing with him.

Jon Paul,

Thanks for being on top of this.

I encountered the "bandwidth exceeded message" but had full confidence things were being repaired and sure enough, everything is running again.

Jon Paul, I was really nice of
you to come in and explain.

You fixed it and that is great!

When I saw the bandwidth exceeded
message, I thought something was
wrong the my ISP - or my computer.

This is a relief as far as I'm
concerned.

Thanks again!

Bruce, DOGGRADIO STUDIO 2
