The homeless golden-voiced Ted Williams is back in the spotlight on NBC's "Today" show. Watch the interview (after the commercial). This guy might really make it back to being one of the true success stories. Watch and see what you think.

I wish this icon all the best. It's good to see people who can hang in there and make a second chance count.
Indeed. Good to see something positive happening to those who got shoved aside.

Oh good, I will watch this later after work, because I've been a Ted Williams fan since his now legendary YouTube audition.
The "idea" I allude to up in the Subject box is how good it would be for someone to produce a radio series with people who make come backs into society following the many downfalls that afflict people in life.
I just had a guy a couple weeks ago come to the door offering to clean the gutters for much needed cash. I didn't give him that job. Instead, after speaking with him a few minutes, I hired him to mortar the chimney before it blew over, since he said he was a laid off brick layer. His professionalism from the first 8 AM showup with all tools and supplies was stunning. Presto, a perfectly mortared chimney sturdy enough to mount antennas.
I don't want to foist too many responsibilities over to you, Marshall, like I tried to appoint you our leader, but on the other hand you work among people in need, and maybe you would be the logical person to do a program about great comeback stories. Let's just say, if such a program existed, I would want to air it.
Thanks for posting that link Marshall. Great overview of his last couple months and an interesting interview too.
