I made a quick video tour of the KEBS/Iron Range Country studio today. Nothing fantastic mind you, but for those who are interested...
Of course after I uploaded it I thought of several more things I wanted to explain.. LOL.

still work on your end without a CAP to EAS Converter?
mine appears to only be decoding RMT and RWT but i haven't had any other deocdes in quite a while.
i think NOAA has gone completely to CAP along with the LP-1 and 2 here for everything but the two test signals.
i'm trying to acquire a CAP to EAS Converter.
That makes me want to slide all my crap off on the floor and go hide my face for thinking that I even do "pretend" radio!!!
Thanks for sharing!!
Guess you never got to see the pics of my station,
Dropbox File (Private or Invalid)
these are old picture though pre studio overhaul before i further cleaned up the wiring and desktop.
Quite impressive Tim. How do you keep track of everything!
Also thanks to Part15Engineer for his pics too.
Compared to that if I showed mine you'd just laugh!

Seems to work OK without the CAP. Not that I have a lot of things to receive! I get the weekly tests from the NWS (NOAA to you) just fine, as well as the weekly and monthly tests from one station I monitor (not assigned to me of course).
I did receive the national test a few months ago through the station I monitor. So, OK by me.

my weather rx got locked out of the scan sequence on the sage 1822, it wasn't scanning the port my weather was on. fixed that and verified it is still passing weather alerts now.
I also noticed the AKAI R/R deck. I have the
same deck. (It's being worked on right now.)
The Grundig S-350DL is a familiar radio. I had
one and also the original smaller S-350. They
both served me well. (I took them everywhere -
even out in snow storms to listen to the all news
station 100 miles away.) I no longer have them.
I think I saw a Star Trek communicator with blue tooth
in the background. That's a really hot item! I have a
Trek communicator from about 20 years ago. It makes
a few noises. That's the best they could do then.
If I could get WCBS 880 in New York on it - that would
be good enough. (That's the all news station mentioned
above.) Maybe I will cram in a little AM radio in there
some day, or - a teeny little blue tooth speaker.
I also enjoyed Part 15 engineer's pictures very much.
That's a lot of great work, that's for sure!
I think a Part 15 station is the equipment that you love - -
and when you walk in there - you feel great!
Thanks for the wonderful images!

The Gorman-Redlich DEC1 is nice.....but I don't have ~$1500 on me right now, thank you...!!;)
