Hello all,
Hello all,
I was active in the Part 15 community in the late 1990s, as I lived in Detroit and could achieve a reasonable range on upper AM frequencies. Since then, I have moved to a small community of 1700 residents. Less than 100 are within listening distance because I am really in a pretty remote part of town (have high-speed internet though!) Because of this, I have started a Live365 station called Dysfunctional Radio. We will be recording a single three hour talk/comedy show each week in addition to syndicated programming and music.
I would be more than willing to burn CDs and distribute the weekly show to anyone who wants to listen to it and possibly carry it on their Part 15 stations. The show is three hours long; the first two hours are unedited and the last hour is guaranteed to be clean. If there’s a good response to what we have to offer after sending out sample CDs, we will certainly start a blog with links to future episodes so they can be download for playing on Part 15 stations. We will be doing are first live broadcast this Friday—we would gladly send out a few CDs of this broadcast to see if we could pique interest and perhaps find some Part 15 stations to carry our talk content!
I can be emailed at [email protected] or simply reply to this message.
I would love to carry some new programming. I Also have music you can check out to play. Go to www.myspace.com/brianbethkemusic

Thanks for the responses, folks. (I also received a response through email). I have set up a web presence for my internet radio station, so if you are interested in seeing what we offer and plan to offer in the future, go ahead and visit http://dysfunctionalradio.about.vg -- we have a link to our live stream. Our original content, including Dysfunctional Live, can be heard on replay on the stream. We would love to expand our live audience on low power terrestrial radio--we had 101 unique listeners during our maiden live broadcast (for a combined total of 85 hours) on Live365 on Friday, and the show was quite interactive. If you would like to run the stream live over your station, let me know in this thread, preferably. If you would like to run pre-recorded segments let me know in this thread as well, since we will probably have a compressed MP3 release of future shows available through a file hosting service.
If you would like to hear our maiden episode, it is airing in replay from 5:30am-9am EST and 5:30pm-9pm EST until Friday, when we go live once more. The link is available on our website: http://dysfunctionalradio.about.vg

The server at dysfunctionalradio.about.vg is taking too long to respond.
It has happened a few times today, even when I was in the process of uploading. The host has says that it is not a regular problem. I guess I will see before I move the site elsewhere.
