A few years back we were all in a huge buzz about Part 15 Shortwave operation on 13.56 MHz. I've decided to revisit this as I re-enter the part 15 world. Lucky for me this time around theres a guy building shortwave transmitters for 13.56 on ebay!
I plan on using this unit with a battery eliminator and outdoor longwire antenna.
Upon some digging, our very own users here have experienced this transmitter. I'll see if this transmitter has the same problems as the ones from 2 years ago. I hope not, but if so I'll do my best to fix it. $60 is worth the try.
I was one of the first to try it out (but not on the ISM frequency). I never got it to work very well, but hopefully he's worked the bugs out by now. Good luck.
I hope so, I saw you guys really struggled with the darn thing. Lucky for me I have access to an Optimod 9000A, if that can't make it sound good nothing can short of a rebuild.
In 2011 several members here at part15(dot)us designed a part 15 AM shortwave transmitter by committee for broadcast on 13.560 MHz, named the Big Talker Transmitter.
PhilB the inventor of the AMT3000/5000 transmitters contributed the version that comes closest to compliance of 15.225 and Neil Radio8Z presented a version that covers the same range with a little power overhead.
Also participating was Brooce WLP, Ermie Roos, MRAM Bob, SCWIS, and names I am probably forgetting.
The results of our work is available

I've been hoping someone would post the schematic for that eBay Greek SW transmitter so we could analyze it.
a couple of years ago that had the problems.
It says 21 have been sold and that 4 are left.
Funny, the 13.560 rig I built works.
But I can't build small. It's about the size of a
pizza box.
I really really hope this one works.

Transmitter arrived today safe and sound. Currently doing limited test broadcasts with a horizontal long wire beaming North East at 57 degrees from Fannin County Texas.
How does it sound?
The audio is surprisingly not bad. The modulation knob is somewhat touchy, but the audio can be pretty full. I'd say its only slightly less wideband than the other shortwave stations, it might be pushing 7 kHz of audio.
Nice
