i suspect it's a lack of consumer confidence in the future of the us economy.
the middle class and rich are all stashing their money away for tough rainy day times instead of spending it.
when instead we should really be spending our way out of this economic recession for the consumer spending is what really creates the demand for jobs.
even buying used gear has a multiplying effect throughout the economy.
the poor and working poor don't have the buying power to spend our way into job creation and ultimately out of the what i can only refer to as the great depression II.
so in short start buying people and stop stashing that money away the us economy needs cash to flow freely between people in order for the economy to heal.
