Peter of the Stuph File Program asked if I would help him out by letting the community about his goal of reaching 400 patrons... and I'm happy to help, so here is the details as copied from his email:
------------------
I was wondering if you could get the word out to the folks you know who might be fans of The Stuph File Program about the fact that it is now on Patreon.com. I don’t know if you are familiar with Patreon.com [ https://www.patreon.com/TheStuphFileProgram ], but it is a platform where folks can become patrons of content, be it podcasts, music, art or whatever, for a nominal fee of their choosing. This in turn allows said creators to earn something in the hopes of being able to continue with their creative endeavours.
In Patreon, one of the things that creators do is list their goals on their page. My goal of reaching 400 patrons would herald in the removal of any ads. My second goal of 600 patrons would see the creation of a second show per week. So we’ll see where this all takes me.
I’m fully aware that Part 15 broadcasters are, for the most part, hobbyists and therefore aren’t in the position to pay for content. But some of them might be able to become patrons of certain programs that they air or even like on their own.
For instance, I’m offering folks to become patrons for $1 a week. At that price the minimum commitment is $52 a year, however there is nothing that says someone has to be a patron for the full year. Anyone could opt out at anytime.
So let me know if you can and are willing to spread the word about Patreon.com. And please give me a heads up about it if you do. It would be much appreciated.
Also the offers for others to do a guest slate on the program is still available, so let me know if anybody is keen.
Thanks again for being a fan of the show.

I got to thinking about this after I posted it.. Does this mean his program is no longer considered as free-to-air on our stations if we do not donate to his Patreon account for the Stuph Files program?? So I emailed him for clarification.
Here was his reply:
Yes, of course it’s free to air. I’m just saying that if someone wants to join Patreon and give something, or if they want to just simply hit the donate button on my website and give something, they are most welcome, like anybody else to do so, but no one is compelled to do so. The only thing I’m against are those who take the show and air it without ever telling me that they’re doing so.
