Hi everyone,

Hi everyone,

It's been a while since I've had a chance to post.

My grandmother was very ill and passed away in 2006 so there have been family issues to take care of.

I'm getting ready to build/rebuild my part 15 station(s). WJJD on 1160 AM
suffered some lightning/storm damage and has been off the air for about a year. The country station has been operating as internet-only since that time.

Now, I'm saving up some $ to build a station on 1610 AM. I would like to use a Rangemaster for this station (possibly more than 1 RM later down the line).

I still have the Cunningham CM30-50 transmitter from the 1160 that I don't believe I will use now. If anyone is interested, I'd consider a swap/trade for items to help get back on the air on 1610.

My former employer, a local AM station, went silent in 2006 so I'm surviving on disability. It ain't easy.

In the meantime, I'm building a new website for my Tallahassee station and will share that with you when it's ready.

Feel free to write me at [email protected] if you're interested in the Cunningham. It will need some work as I believe the storm did some damage to it and I'm not a good enough engineer to fix it myself.

Hey I know what a pain it can be when things come up for a part15er I have never been hit by lightnig but I have had my computer go down because I had a friend load windows XP for me but he didn't tell me it wasn't a legal copy. I am running prerecorded shows until I can fork out the change to get a legal operating system. I do have a ramsey AM -1 that you can have. You would have to do some mods because it drifts like crazy let me know.

Brian, and Rev. Robert,

I've emailed you both privately today.

Thank you for the response. I'm looking forward to getting back on the air later this year. I miss it!

I went out this past Saturday and looked at a vintage Collins audio board that a local semi-retired broadcaster had available. It's a nice one that he had restored..and works.

Guess I'm a little old fashioned but I like the rotary pots and toggle switches for program and audition!

I'll be going back to pick it up this weekend.

Now just need to get a transmitter and get back on the air!

I ordered the Rangemaster...

The control room is completed!! The station will be able to air
vinyl, reels, cassettes, carts, CDs and mp3s on the computer when
it goes on the air.

I'm also going to use Zara for automation for off-and-away times.
