i have a TR 20 phase II on 850 khz available. this transmitter is in PERFECT CONDITION cosemtically and electrically!!!!!! Exciter, FINALS AND AMP BOARD ITSELF is in perfect operating condition. THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH THIS TRANSMITTER. as long as you don't abuse the transmitter those finals will hum along for the rest of your life. I WILL GARUNTEE TRANSMITTER IS NOT DOA. i will not warranty against stupidity like running the thing full bull into a mismatched load while overdriving the PA board which is pretty much what you have to do to blow these finals.
should you ever need them PARTS ARE STILL AVAILABLE from http://www.rfparts.com for finals @ $99.00/pr and the rest can be obtained from Digikey or Mouser for pennies.
DO NOT LET ANYONE TELL YOU DIFFERENT. I DID THE RESEARCH.
Here is LPB's version of this transmitter it uses the same basic design. it sold for 547 plus 25 shipping i could not locate a radio systems tr20 that has recently been up for auction but i have seen them sell in the past for similar pricing if not for more.
Now with that said i am going to ask $500.00 SHIPPED, INSURED and BOXED by FED Ex ground.
if you want a carrier current transmitter and don't like my price than go try and find a better deal than that or go spend $1500 for used (if you can find them) or $2500 for new Radio Systems TR6000 that only does 10 Watts!!!! or spend $250 plus $50 shipping on an LPB RC6 or 25c that may or may not work and will likely not be in very good shape.

i have put a handwritten tag in these photo's so you can be assured that the transmitter pictured is infact in my posession and is the one you will be getting.
i really hate ebay but it appears that is where i will have to go if i want a decent price for this thing and the fm.
sold.
