Of course radio is a form of "social media", as are books, newspapers, what not.
But today the expression "social media" of course means, Twitter, Face Book, Instagram and you know all the others. Even Part 15 dot U.S. is "social media", which refers to "a platform over which people can communicate with one another."
All right, so we have radio stations. What are the ways Part 15 radio stations can use social media? That's the subject of Radio Survivor, the weekly podcast about radio.

Ned calls the FCC may bring tears to your eyes from involuntary laughter
He's right. They bitch about Hobby Radio and transmitting 1/4 to 1 mile on an unused frequency like 87.9 Mhz, but then go ahead and claim that the F word was not offensive. Double standard. Even Scott from the FCC was laughing at Ned when he was bringing up a valid point. But again it goes rught over their heads. Well at least we now can use the F word ON AIR. Next you'll hear the Rap song as a number 1 hit called "I Won't F [edited...not on this site please] With You" which explains why I did actually hear that song on air. What next?
