I spoke with John Stadtmiller at Republic Broadcasting today and yes, the feed is available for free on Ku.
Also, spoke with Jeff Rense and he wanted everyone to know that the Rense Network ( http://rense.com) is available via streaming (they will supply a special HQ stream) and on satellite at:
Satellite - Galaxy 19
Transponder 5
Frequency 11836
Symbol Rate 20.770
PID 559 - Right Side
On a side note, I notice RBN won an award as "ZenoRadio Top Broadcaster"..
If you recall a few years ago I had pointed out Zeno's free service here (and elsewhere), but nobody seemed the least bit interested in it at all.. I never did really understand why not. I've always seen it as an excellent potential enhancement for our stations.. expecially when it is entirely free to both the broadcater and the listeners..
Anyway, thanks for finding RBN, I'll be sure to add it to my list of free programming sources
I love Zeno and also baffled as to why it hasn't taken off on here in a big way. Streaming your content to basically any cellphone for free, what's not to love? Don't get me wrong, I love the magic of Part 15 AM and even the challenges (half the fun) but the ability to go nationwide and mobile puts a smile on my face as well (though it lacks the old "heathkit" warm fuzzy feeling).
Not just to a cellphone, to any phone!
What's more, it used to be that the only additional capabilty they provided besides the ability of listing on a phone was a player you could embed on your webpage, but since then, they've added a lot more features and capabilities since I first came across it.. and they also are all 100% free:
One really neat one is the ability of broadcasting a live call-in talk show, and/or a including a remote co-host - you don't need any other setup or equipment.
If you want to broadcast live from a sporting event or while driving down the road, and dont have access to a computer or internet, you can actually broadcast live from any phone!
All live programs are automatically recorded and uploaded directly to your RSS feed.
You don't need to jump through any hoops, just use your existing setup with Zara or whatevr - or if you don't have an existing setup:
"ZenoLive provides you with everything you need: a console to broadcast live, take callers on and off air, auto DJ to play songs or old episodes when you’re off air, and a URL you can plug into third party sites like TuneIn and Itunes to stream your content."
Like I said; I never understood why no one here considered Zeno of much use when I first informed you about it a few years ago.. But if you still think it worthless now, I'd be flabbergasted!

i just don't do conervative / conspiracy theory talk radio. and the program sources have to meet my requirements of offering a static link for me to donwload.
i am a more progressive leaning in the news i run.
