Some of you folks may remember a few years back I dabbed into Part 15 Television on VHF 3, 6 and UHF 17. Of course part 15 tv has been illegal for several years now; Despite this for some fun experimentation I have dragged my Blunder Tongue Cable transmitter out of retirement. The VHF-Hi section no longer operates on this transmitter, so I'm stuck between 2-9 for channels, but this fine. (I am aware that VHF-hi starts at 7, the lower tuning section of the BT allows me to hit 8 and 9)

Right now the transmitter sits on channel 9 analog, pumping a signal through my internal cabling, so I guess this makes it Closed Circuit Television, although there are a pair of rabbit ears I have attached to the cable panel in a closet that allows some of my analog rabbit ear TVs to recieve the programming.

I have the BT turned down to its lowest power setting, even then I am able to get a noise free picture in the house on channel 9, Channel 6 opertation introduces some noise in the picture.

Right now the transmitter merely serves to rebroadcast my DirecTV box to older analog TVs in the house.

On an added bonus, I do have an older radio that has AM/FM/WX/TV that enables me to tune into the audio of channel 9.

So that leaves me with AM/TV/SW. My FM transmitter died a month ago and just last week my FM antenna blew off the roof. Maybe I'll make Channel 9 my "FM" for giggles.

Thats awesome.  I always wanted to try that.  When I was younger I remember my father having this UHF Transmitter that I would plug my nintendo or Atari into and run a video game "TV station"

You can do part 15 with analog NTSC but the range will be bad.

Cable channels start at 54MHz.  Cable 139’s top is at 888MHz; Cable 125’s top is at 804MHz.

There are some part 15 openings in there:

Cable 17 can be used with 150uv/m@3m

Cable 19 can be used with 150uv/m@3m

Cable 23-26 can be used with 200uv/m@3m

Cable 35-39 can be used with 200uv/m@3m

Cable 43-52 can be used with 200uv/m@3m

Cable 56-64 can be used with 200uv/m@3m

Cable 127-139 can be used with 200uv/m@3m

If someone had a TV that could tune analog cable channels 143-145, I think they could be done with 50,000uv/m@3m.
