Check out the line that says... "...through a 2-wire ground and aerial system which had been built into the structure..."
What kind of antenna would this be? It seems a lot like the kind of antenna we have been trying to re-invent while being told that indoor antennas are no good.

What an interesting story!
And "wildcat" is a good term to describe pirate radio.
That wildcat in the story could have been a success if he hadn't chosen to interfere with the resident radio station. Pity him.
Wonder if the new station ever went on the air serving the women's wing. I'd like to be in charge of that one.
