Well, here I am, late again. What with the long weekend, company, Christmas decorating, and all I completely forgot it was Sunday and didn't get my usual Oompah Hour bulletin issued, BUT Oompah Hour #36 is uploaded and ready for the masses. Even more great old time style Christmas music in the show this week with lots more to come! It's at the usual link of course:

This is great stuff! And I'm not used to
it - I used to be a jazz musician - so
it's a change for my brain.
Fun stuff! Neat songs, and great announcing!
A lot of happy sounding music.
When I was a little boy, my grandfather
(who came over from Sweden on the boat
in 1923) had (as far as I can tell) just one
33 1/3 phonograph record. In about 1959,
he played it on a pretty good turntable (for the
time anyway) through the audio input jack on the
back of his huge 25 inch black and white Sears SilverTone TV.
Really good audio. The record was all in Swedish,
and there were at least one or two songs that sounded
like polkas. I can still sort of sing one - but it's Swedish
and I don't know what the words mean.
Thanks again for this!
Bruce
