"Tim's Oompah Hour" is now into month 4 of weekly, fresh, updated weekly programs.
Just thought I'd throw the pitch out there that it's alive, well and available for anyone who needs an hour long program. It's recorded live in the studio each week from beginning to end like real old fashioned radio. All the songs are from my private old tyme music record collection and so far go back to 1946.
Anyone who would like to run it is free to download it and program it however they like. No strings. But if you at least let me know you're runing it I'll email you an update each week with a notice that the new show has been uploaded and send you a word document with the playlist for the show for those who need the title/artist for stream licensing. When applicable I include album titles, although 95% of the tunes are from 45's and a few old 78's.
Just put show #17 in the can, and I've yet to repeat a song.
Uploaded every Sunday (usually in the morning) for that week, the link remains constant at: http://www.ironrangecountry.com/oompahhour.mp3 so if you have a program that automatically downloads programs for air the link is the same every time.
I don't want to over-plug this and fear maybe I am, but I'm having a blast recording the shows and even if you think you hate polka music, I find many find it entertaining and fun, given a chance.
BTW, all the shows are archived so if someone would like to start at the beginning and catch up I can set you up to download the entire archive. Each show is about 55 minutes long give or take a couple minutes.

Having no real authority to set standards for this website, I think I may have set a precedent that you might consider following...
Every time I have a new Low Power Hour I post an official announcement here with a list of contents and a download link. This has gone on 92 times already!
You ought to do the same thing!
Your program, Tim's Ooompah Hour, is first rate professional grade broadcast quality and I wish very much I could carry it, but for the stream licensing kink.
I'm swimming upstream trying to keep legal while keeping the management obligations within bounds, but I am still gathering data on all facts regarding legal licensed / unlicensed streaming, and at some point I might have a bout of madness and buy some licenses so I can stand proud among stations.
Attention Stations!! Grab the Ooompah Hour! Do it for your audience, it will keep them coming back.
There are some streaming providers that charge monthly and the charge INCLUDES the proper license on a monthly basis. I've looked at some in case i decide to stream in the future, but of course, can't remember them now. Their package plans seem to make the whole thing very simple. I have them bookmarked, but as it takes about 5 minutes to scroll through my bookmarks list.....
Maybe I'll try to remember to post the updates!
