From October 3rd, 2013 through August 5th, 2014- I was a member and co-founder of a punk/ grunge band. I played the drums. My good friend Zack Routon played the guitar, wrote the songs and sung. His good friend Julian Wilingham played the bass. Together- we called ourselves Manic Impression. It was the first band I truly loved and was proud of what we accomplished. Before then- I was in a band called Deadfall with my still good friend Andy Wilson.
Anyway- I have unearthed all of our old recordings, and if you feel like hearing some top of the line (or bottom, it's up to you) garage grunge- here's the link to the folder.

On July 7th, 2014- we released our only EP, "No Comply' which can be heard for free here- https://soundcloud.com/zack-routon
What am I up to now? Well since December 13th, 2014- I've been playing drums with my friend Nils Reeve and Vinny Intriei and we've recorded a ton of material which we plan on recording onto my newly acquired Reel to Reel machine. The stuff we're making is quite different than Manic Impression. Our name is still unknown- but it might be something like "Astral Exit"
I haven't even heard it yet but can you give permission to use this on part 15 stations and programs, with attribution of course?
Go for it, Carl.
Go for it, Carl.
Oh gosh I started downloading from the Google Drive and the music took over my streams, cut Amy Goodman's Democracy Now off the air, and it took about 5-minutes to regain control!
Gawd...deeuww!
I'll have to try again later.
Has a Foo Fighters mixed with a Nirvana type sound. It has the sound of a Seattle band. Pretty good stuff. Too bad the sound quality was a little rough but the band has some good potential here. I hope you will get back to playing again.
Sorry Legacy- but Manic Impression is done. I have moved onto to new things! Soon, I shall post some recordings of my current band. Well it's not *my" band, but our band.
