Blare OnAir titled "Fade Out" from earlier today is now uplinked and available for stations in the Part 15 Services.
"Fade Out" Blare OnAir Big Special Effect
Get over there fast!
No one showed up but it means I get to keep the $100-dollar bills I was going to hand out.
On this show I also did a Station ID Recording Session for an LPFM station.
And I announced my new audio mixer being delivered this week.
EMPTY ROOM SHOW COLLECTOR'S EDITION
Yes, Carl will be hanging out in the TeamSpeak Open Room again tonight starting about 9 PM EDT.
Anyone who enters will be subject to guestmanship on Blare OnAir, the program all about anything.
The date on the server is one day ahead of itself, August 25 2016 when it is really August 24 2016 or maybe Carl is a time traveller!
Carl and Barry.. But hear nothing. My headphones are working. It told me I had logged in.
Perhaps I am only there in computer spirit.
Tonight's TeamSpeak Open Room broadcast of Blare OnAir was the success we have sought over these many months.
Two part 15 broadcasters arrived for discussions so stimulating that it expanded into two shows soon to be released!
We were joined by Barry of Blue Bucket Radio and CraigF from Jacksboro Radio.
It may take overnight to get these two amazing programs uplinked for your listening edification.
The Association of Low Power Broadcasters Presents Part 1 of an experimental new radio series from the TeamSpeak Open Room.
Barry of Blue Bucket Radio and CraigF from Jacksboro Radio join Carl Blare for Part 1 of a 2-part Blare OnAir program.
Blare OnAir - Part 1 - Aug, 24, 2016
I enjoyed the opportunity to be part of the show last nite! We will definately have to do it again!
Thank you CraigF yes it was a creative evening with you and Barry from Blue Bucket Radio. There will be more shows from the ALPB TeamSpeak Open Room.
Part 2 of Blare OnAir - Aug. 24, 2016
I used to hide the Texas accent much better, but these days I am not in an environment that requires or even supports it.
You can say, I let my twang hang out! I can't wait until the second half to hear all of us in dialogue. The first half being punctuated by Carl speaking while we couldn't hear him speaking was entertaining.
Tune in to find out the outcome of this unscheduled dialogue among the inept.
A prepared dialogue or just a dialogue with pointers to keep me on track might produce a show worthy of syndication ... or abdication of ever being airworthy again (agin).
The many different regional accents of part 15ers and other low powerers around the world contribute to the international flavor of the hobby.
Johny C sounds like a guy from New Zealand, Artisan Radio gives traces of Canada, and of course I, Carl Blare, have to struggle to hide a spoon-fed life of privilege and sophistication.
I would even suggest that if you don't have an accent or dialect try to fake one to add dazzle to our conversations.
By the way, Part 2 is posted just before your last post, CraigF.
I saw that you had posted part 2 before my comment about tuning into part 2. I have had many distractions at work today and did not see it at the time.
I have now listened to Part 2 and I endorse the accents in that program!
It was a great informal show and I enjoyed BlueBucket Radios history of his station along with the other things we discussed. BlueBucket Radio and I definately took over your show.
Speaking for myself, I don't know when to stop talking! You should install a gong.
It was all in great fun, entertainment and hopefully encouragement for those sitting on the fence about Part 15 involvement.
Turn those microphones on; start recording and transmitting...it is what Carl does, you should too!
CraigF allowed: "BlueBucket Radio and I definately took over your show."
That is what's good about it. When I host the show I hope the participants are so much at ease that they talk and enjoy themselves. That way I can slip out once in awhile to flirt with Flotilla my assistant.
I am kind of an orchestra conductor. I point at various things but the orchestra makes the music.
Or perhaps I am a ringmaster in the circus... I give the tiger a nod and it stands up and smiles.
I am happy to be the first to know that Live Blare OnAir broadcasts from the TeamSpeak Open Room will be scheduled on the fifth Saturday of the five months that have one.
Look at it this way... the ALPB Meets on the first and third Saturday of the month, and during months with five Saturdays there's a lengthy "time-out" around the end of the month. The next one will be October 29.
The "at random" broadcasts from the Open Room will continue to take place with and without notice, as Carl seems to have launched yet another unpaid career.
At about this point the excitement has died down and you may already have forgotten what I just said.
