Hi All,
Hi All,
Here is a countdown to the top of the hour sound you can use on your station. I got it from CBS news, and adjusted it with pitch correction in Adobe Audition, just 3 low beeps then a high beep, seconds apart. Hope you can find it useful somehow, and it also really cuts through static and noise well too over the air.
Enjoy here is the link

Just the thing I needed, thanks for sharing this. By the way, if anyone wonders, I am indeed the Kevin Johnston in upstate New York who was involved in Part 15 operations some years ago. Looking here to fire up a transmitter once again. Is anyone else here using Breakaway software for their audio? I've just figured out how to use it and the sound I get is amazing.
Thanks for checking in, and yes, Breakaway Broadcast Processor is amazing. I used it for a while because I wanted to test out the asymmetrical modulation function, lots of neat stuff, and you can get great sound out of it. I had some trouble with it however, sometimes it would really lock up my computer hard, running Vista.
I have always relied on the audio processor in Sam Broadcaster, which does a great job on its own merits I think, with multiband compression, and AGC gating.
Part15ing,
Geoff
Thanks for making that audio available!
