This is an updated photo on the progress of my INTERNET RADIO station.
It is currently 98% done and already online.

That is bad ass. It will Rock Out. Time to bring back the True Album Rock not just Top 40. And some nice audio processing. I can see how some may get jealous.
The ALPB (Association of Low Power Broadcasters) declares MrBruce Broadcasting Station to be 100% compliant with all rules and regulations.
The ALPB also recognizes the skill and craftmanship seen in MrBruce excellent radio facility.
The above statements will become even more true when the other members of the ALPB find out I posted them and decide to endorse what I said prior to full member authorization.
Still working out the bugs, I'm not used to using the Behringer Ultramizer Pro DSP1424P and have to read through the manual before I put it into service. Right now I'm not using any processing equipment. Everything is being by-passed, its the VMX1000 mixer straight to the server's sound card for now.
The Behringer MDX1600 is not currently feeding anything, that is the second box down below the modulation monitor, but I intend on using it if and when I go AM STEREO. It is currently being feed by the DSP1424P.
The forth box down is a Behringer DSP9024 Multi-band limiter/compressor.
That scanner to which the coax is attached is a Realistic Pro-2006 400 Channel scanner.
That meter up top of that is a Diamond SX-200 SWR/power meter, I used it when I had my Ramsey FM100 transmitter. I no longer possess that transmitter or any other FM transmitter.

Until I work the bugs out the audio might be a bit raspy.
Bruce.
Where is your pirate radio transmitter? ๐
Bruce NEVER HAD a PIRATE FM Transmitter. The transmitter's in question were Decade certified Transmitters. They were the MS-100 models. At the time they were certified. Since they "Were certified" rather or nort they may have gone a little over the 250 uV/m @ 3 meters is what may question you. A Pirate to me operates a 5-99,999 Watt transmitter. Again Bruce was and is NOT a Pirate. The station that some dude was talking about that was received 5 miles was 98.7 NOT 89.7 so it was a mix up. Bruce did nothing wrong so all the anti FM's need to get over this PIRATE crap. Dang already this is so old. OK back to every day life.
John WDCX Druid Hills was joking about the whereabouts of the pirate transmitter, as demonstrated by the friendly smiley face in that message.
Also, someone somewhere in these threads made the point that there is no such thing as a pirate transmitter.
You could take a 50,000 Watt transmitter and pad down the output to Part 15 compliance, and it would be a legal operation.
The next person who says "pirate" will be escorted out of the website.
I seen what WDCX said and knew he was creating a pun, no harm done. It did make me laugh though.
Thelegacy I do appreciate your sticking up for me just the same. I knew WDCX was not using that statement against me, but to poke fun at those who did accuse me in the past.
Nothing illegal happening here.

Bruce.
I didn't realize it was in fun. I just get a little irate when I see legal stations called names. But on the topic hyes it does sound good now. I was listening on my Android and had to do a trick to get it to do so as till you pay for the extended service $5.99/Month androids can't stream unless you do the following:
1. If you have tethering on your plan connect the Android to a computer and then turn on tethering. Now open up your computer's browser and go to the site with the stream. Next Download Xiia. Now go to the site on your Android but select Desktop View. You'll see the links to listen on other players. I clicked on the Winamp one. One of the links should allow you to listen on the app. Save the station and your done. If you try and connect the next day and it won't connect repeat the process. I'm able to now go outside and sit on the swing and listen to WNCR. Not a bad station. Like your ID's too. I play some of the more Album Rock stuff on my station. Rock on dude.
I stream with my Android phone all the time.
You need to have either wifi or a data plan.
I'm not sure if the built-in music player supports streaming, but you can download any number of apps that will play an m3u or pls or mp3 stream.
The FREE version of MyRadioStream requires you to first open the web page with the station's web player on it (Flash Player). After that you can use the .pls link to tune in via any player. It opens the firewall on MyRadioStream's server. Yes normally you'd be able to use an app like Xiia and tune in to http://s25.myradiostream.com:9672/ but unless you first open the link to the stations stream page you'll get an access denied message. If he ever pays for the server he'll get Full Access. This means he'll be listed on the Shoutcast directory and you won't have to first tune in via the web stream player. You can use Winamp or iTunes and whatever player you want and open http://s25.myradiostream.com:9672/ However since my android has the tethering I used the computer to open the firewall and now I can stream on my Android while I do whatever.
Right now I'm just letting the automated programming run the station, but plans are to go live with turntables and music from vinyl records.
Right now I am not sure how many people might be listening and prefer to go live once there is an audience out there listening.
I am putting the word out locally that we are on line.
The only piece of equipment I have put into service is the DSP9024 Multi-Band processor. I have to learn more about the DSP1424P Loudness Maximizer before I let it effect the audio chain. It's a complicated device to learn about and then I have to experiment with the factory pre-sets and a few trial settings.
The DSP1424P is a LOW and HIGH band processor, where the DSP9024 is a 6 band processor.
The audio quality has improved when I switched the purpose of the audio cards. I have two.
One audio card takes the audio in and the other puts the audio out. In my first configuration the audio stream was a bit distorted. So I switched the properties of each card and switched the line in and line out plugs around and now the sound is better.
Some of my songs were recorded using the wrong kbps which as 128kbps, so some songs kind of sound crappy, I still have to re-record those at 320kbps when I get a chance.
When we go live, you'll notice a BIG difference when we play vinyl records. Trust me on that.
Bruce.
I love your ID's. I've been listening to ya. Oh Brice you'll see DNAS stats or Admin. You can see the IP addresses. To find where they live copy and paste to en.utrace.de and then you will know.
