Howdy, been a low power bradcaster for going on 2 years on july 3rd. I run "free radio for the free thinker" 92.9 in Haddon Heights, NJ.

Awesome to find a forum dedicated to this form of radio. Can't wait for the great discussion!

73! (yes I am also a SW'ler and dx'er of all the various bands of radio)

ätrainradio"

That makes me think of Duke Ellington.

What shortwave bands do you like?

I've listened to just about everything, but

lately it's just been CHU and WWV. (Ha)

This website is a great place!

I thought of atrainradio today when a program we carry (Truth Dig) or, memory is slipping, (Talk Nation), played their theme: "A-Train!"

Listen. We need you in the ALPB. Meeting coming up Saturday night, check out

thealpb.com

and spot the TeamSpeak instructions.

The Association for Low Power Broadcasters is a partner of this website, all working to make the best use of the great Part 15 hobby/profession.

Yup.  We like similar places on HF.

I used to listen all over the place.

But my favorite ham bands are 80, 40, and 10 meters.

I'm not a transmitting guy.  I really just listen.

CB was one of the first radio things I fell for, as a kid.

So yup, I tune in 11 meters sometimes.  It sure is a good

band opening indicator.  So we have something in common.

Bruce
