I think Lefty may have left out the password needed with that TeamSpeak address, which is: part15

The other night I got to try the TeamSpeak for the first time and it is great! Even if you are not coming to the meeting on Friday, I hope you will sign in anyway for the fun of using TeamSpeak, where all the people who are logged in can talk and listen to one another. Truly amazing.

Team Speak 3 Client is a FREE download. Simple enough to install.

You just have to put in the correct server address and password. If you need help, please ask.

Just Google Team Speak and look for Team Speak 3 Client for either Windows or Mac.

Or better yet HERE IS THE LINK, YES CLICK ON THESE BLUE WORDS.

The organization has been brought together for two purposes:

1.) To promote and, when possible, improve the part 15 low power broadcasting hobby and profession;

2.) To provide a central FTP (I forget what FTP means) for repositing programs produced by part 15ers that are made available for re-broadcast by other part 15ers.

But the reason I belong to the group is that I find Team Speak an amazing communications tool, way better than a neighborhood bar.

Join the Friday Meeting, even if you don't join up. Do it as a "night out".

For some reason now I know what FTP means. It stands for "File Transfer Protocol" and is a download system for grabbing posted audiofiles.

We do hope you will show up for free fish at the Second Meeting of the National Association of Low Power Broadcasters, over at Lefty's place Friday night. See his opening message above for details, and the password is "part15" (without the quote marks).

The only way you can make us stop these repetitive invitations is to show up at the meeting.

There will be a door prize. We are giving away a door.

For that matter, we'd enjoy hearing from anyone currently interested in broadcasting to share ideas, techniques and programming.

... but I'm on the air every Friday night broadcasting high school sports.

I'll download and listen to Carl's LPH summaries, but if anyone can write down and post (or distribute via email) that would be awesome for those of us who cannot participate.

The entire meetings are carried on The Low Power Hour, not just summaries.

On Low Power Hour No. 47 we got started with the most recent meeting, bringing the pre-meeting conversation.

The full meeting is two hours, and I have just decided to produce a two hour special instead of two more separate shows, which will get us caught up.

Working on it right now.
