This is a hoot from the Golden Days of Talk Radio in Tampa Bay:
That listener calling the Bob Lassiter show was real. He had to be real. No one, not even the best fiction writer, could make up that caller.
That conversation should be made a requirement in radio school training for talk show hosts. I mean, broadcast students should listen to and write a report on that Lassiter moment.
I wonder if there was ever a followup. That is, did that guy write all those letters and what actions were taken on federal, state or local levels to do something about Bob Lassiter.
Like I said earler, I know Bob when he was alive. He was a pussy cat in real life. His best show was a 2 hour monolog on Christmas Day re-living his childhood growing up poor in Philly.
