Hi Guys: I just posted a huge Carrier
Current message at about 3:50 local
time (EDT). It vanished. It's probably
my error, but if you guys see it around
the website, such as in a different blog,
let me know. Oh yeah, it's September 6th.
Thanks so much!

write it up again and resubmit it. appears to not have posted as evidenced by the link here http://part15.us/blog/1012
Thanks a lot Rev. Robert, KC8GPD.
It will take me a while to remember
it all, but I'll have it back up soon.
Best Wishes, Bruce, Dog Radio Studio 2
I guess if it doesn't go, you lose it ... kind-of-a-bummer if it was a long message and took a long time to compose ... flies off into the ether of cyberspace.
Oughta be a way to back up what we write. I often check with the PREVIEW button. During that process. I suppose one could throw it into a digital Stickies note.
This has happened to me a few times when I hit a wrong key instead of ENTER. If my post is getting long I highlight it and copy it to the clipboard. If lost, this is an easy restore with the paste function.
If I know it will be a long post, especially with lots of numbers or equations I compose it with Notepad and copy and paste it into the posting panel.
In the cases of my lost posts it appears to be operator error rather than some quirk of this site.
There are some situations where the spam catcher on the site will flag a post and delay publication until a moderator reviews it and publishes it. Sometimes, if your post doesn't appear wait a while since it may not be "lost".
