Popular Communication magazine has done a couple of articles on community and microbroadcasting in their February and May 2006 issues.
The first article had a misstatement about the range of Part 15 AM transmitters. They corrected the statment in the May issue and specifically mentioned the SSTRAN and Ramsey radios, and also the SSTRAN 3m baseloaded whip.

Apart from mentioning some suspected pirate activities my so-called microbroadcasters (to titillate, no doubt), the articles are very positive and will probably attract some newcomers to the hobby/addiction.
The May issue is on the racks now, and I would suggest that everyone interested in the Part 15 hobby get a copy.
