Never thought of a 40 meter Ham antenna as an AM antenna for part 15 Radio. Although the RAngemaster did work with a CB whip some other part 15 AM Transmitters would get poor range with it. It could be nice when they do allow more antenna length for the new part 15 AM if this gets passed.

I was not suggesting using a 40 meter antenna for part 15. I was simply pointing out the construction of a 3 meter mobile antenna.
