Titled "Historic NBC," Program No. 83 presents Part 2 of "NBC AT 30," a broadcast from 1956.
Then we spin the dial back those 30-years and from 1936 comes "Orphan Annie," an episode titled "Building a Radio Transmitter."
No kidding! It really brings you back.
Great radio from long ago!
I'm a sort of radio historian, and my brother
really IS one. But I don't think either of us have
heard any of THIS!
And GOSH! Don't forget to drink your Ovaltine!
This is your announcer, Bruce Roberts, saying... (!)
Ï can sure see those 50C5s, 35W4s, 12BE6s,
and the rest of those ol' tubes glowing. Especially
through the little holes in the BACK of the radio!
It's REALLY hard to see them through the FRONT!!!

My opening post does not include the program description that I inserted at the time of posting, together with a link. That has never happened before.
Since I am the author, there is an EDIT button up above, and I tried just now to add the program description and link, but the big internet machine said YOU ARE NOT AUTHORIZED TO ACCESS.
Alright. Let's do it now and maybe get somewhere.
LPH # 83 contains Part 2 of "NBC AT 30," originally aired in 1956, celebrating the romantic history of the network.
Next, a mathematical error takes us back "30-years" to 1936 (should have been 1926), but Carl Blare made an honest mistake which actually pays off, because we present Orphan Annie and the episode "Building a Radio Transmitter."
Carl for another enjoyable program. Many of the clips reminded me of how radio used to be.
