i would love to hear fellow amateur radio op Neil.
Great program Carl. Something about the phonograph oscillators, modulators, or whatever. Amroh (dutch radio company) had a diy phonooscillator called UN49. http://elektrotanya.com/amroh_un49_receiver_1957_sm.pdf/download.html (it's not a receiver as you see).
This little transmitter is from the late fifties. When mp3 players were introduced, some guys remembered this thing and made there own UN49 (or modified it). If someone interested in those modification, just drop me an e-mail ([email protected])
Schematics are here: http://www.gloeidraad.nl/radioforumservice/index.php?p=artikelen&sub=artikel-am-ecc82
Ofcourse this isn't 100 mW, but if you use a ferrite antenna, i think you're fieldstrenght is lower then tolerated in part 15 rules.
