KDX.
So my son it in Ohio, and my wife and
daughter are on Cape Cod (a very nice
place by the way.)
So I'm at home. The place we are living
in is temporary. There is stuff everywhere,
and I busted my right knee somehow - I
can't do anything except....
So I drag the busted computer that sort of
works and get it going through the stereo
system. I sat on the couch with an ice pack
on my right knee and did somethiing I have
wanted to do for a long time.
I listened to the radio but it wasn't the radio -
it was Carl's station on line. Sitting there for
hours. And it was fun! When some guy played
"This is the Dumont Television Network," and
started playing the theme song to the original
"The Taking of Pelem One Two Three," my day
was made.
As long as I am by myself, I am just going to
listen to all of you guys that are streaming.
There is nobody here to tell me what to do.
This is GREAT.
I started with Carl, and that's not over. I
will be coming back to him. But I'm going to
listen to every streaming Part 15 dude that's
listed over in the ALPB site.
I don't know how long my wife and daughter
will be away. I miss them very much but I
never get to do this. When they are home
all time is full of is LIFE STUFF. And television,
television, television. I can do without it.
So when opportunity knocks, (and it did) I
opened the door.
Yay!
Oh, the poor dogs are all upset because they
don't know where half the family went and
you can't explain it to them. They are pack
animals and they want everyone to be together.
That part of DOGRADIO, the dog part - is still here.
Best Wishes,
Bruce, At the monitoring post for now
Everybody here on Part15.us is good, but Bruce MICRO1700 is by far.
Keep being Bruce and sorry about the knee.
I have no idea which thread I posted about being in the scene when a Bing car cam drove by with their 360-degree immersive-vision camera.
If you've never seen an example of what 360-degree immersive video is all about, I found an example of it. Just click and drag the scene and you can look all around the whole event:

I'm so ugly it would break the camera.
Bruce
Radio is perfect for the ugly. We can sound quite handsome to listeners, just so they never get a real look.
