The rationale for the direct attack on Lefty (and indirect attack on the ALPB) is now beoming clearer.
The rationale for the direct attack on Lefty (and indirect attack on the ALPB) is now beoming clearer.
The 2 protagonists have now formed their own LP broadcasting group and they intend to focus specifically on the FCC and Part 15 rules.
I say, go for it, and good luck to them. I suspect that that particular group will be organized more as a dictatorship (benevolant or otherwise) whereas it's just be reaffirmed that the ALPB is definitely a democracy.
I hope that this new group doesn't affect the ALPB's directions and inertia. Losing Lefty is a blow and I hope that he reconsiders, particularly since the reasons are now out in the open. After all, this is what they probably wanted in the first place.
I am not a psychic. But I predict that Lefty will return.
He must return, to continue the work he began.
I don't think we accept his resignation. That means he is required to return under penalty of contract violation.
Welcome back, Lefty!
Radio is in Lefty's blood. He is a professional air personality. He aired a show on a local AM that gained quite a following and placed favorably in the ratings.
The AM was bought out by a mega corp and they changed the station format. Lefty's show did not fit the new format.
He decided to continue the show as an internet based station after which he discovered Part 15 station opportunities.
Yes, I believe Lefty will return at some point. He had explained his absence initially caused by a new business venture occupying his life and fully intended to return.
Unfortunately, in his absence he was herein attacked and decided the aggravation was not in his best interest at this busy time of his life.
I am not going to leave , However I have to keep at my work right now.
MRAM will be doing the meetings and should I come to a meeting I will be there as a member .
I will post some more after some thought.
That is good. Lefty is in.
Things seem much better now.
