She's got a brass voice that strains cheap loudspeakers.
Guess there wasn't "dead air" after all....and how are all the stations carrying the show going to react to be called F$#@ stations?
Think she's in a little hot water now.

Gets a FCC pass. No problemo
I know one of the tech guys at her building. A crew was demo'ing the entire floor downstairs from her studio, including taking out every piece of CAT5 that ran through their ceiling. That decision accidentally took out all her functions when they cut through a bundle connecting her studio to the control room.
They cut her headphone line and the lines connecting her console remote control button-pad. No one knew her Talkback button was dead, and the cursing she intended only for her studio crew unfortunately hit the air.
So why didn't her mic die too? Different cable bundle, I'm told.
An unforeseen tech nightmare to be sure, but it still boils down to watching your #$%^ mouth around any and all microphones.
Broadcasting Rule #1 - The mic is always hot!!!
We have all done it.
Once Laura Ingram was back on the air speaking to her audience I wonder if she had a heart-to-heart explanation about what happened. That would be good to hear.
