Voice of Rocky in Rocky and Bullwinkle and much more
She was hillarious!
I remember being at my grandparent's
house on a Sunday evening around 1960.
I think the Bullwinkle Show was running
on NBC Sunday nights at 8:30 eastern time.
I saw it there at about age 4 or 5.
As we know, it was just a slight reworking of "Rocky And His
Friends." There was one long running story about the search
for the Curwood Derby, which was some kind of valuable hat
which was found in the ficticious world of Frostbite Falls, MN -
home of Rocky and Bullwinkle.
Television Personality Durwood Curby resented the fact
that his name was being used (albiet in a twisted way)
on the show. He threatened to sue. Jay Ward (I think)
sent him a message saying "Yes! Please sue us! We need
the publicity!" Durwood Curby withdrew his threat and disappeared.
Please excuse any spelling errors or typos.
Very best wishes!

LOL!!!
I remember the "Kirwood Derby" well!!:)
Let's not forget the metal-munching mice...
And, of course -- Ochiekinawakabaki Boys Camp!!!
Like Looney Tunes....a lot of the puns went right over the kids' heads....but we adults were laughing our asses off!!:)
Frostbite Falls is of course inspired by International Falls, Minnesota, about 2 hours or so north of us. "The Nations Refrigerator" It's right on the Canadian border, which handily set us up for Dudley Do-Rite. You may remember this Sears Die Hard Battery commercial from the 70's:
Yeah. My daughter and her family live there!
As for June Foray, she also did a ton of great stuff with Stan Freberg, on hiw radio show, in his TV commercials, and on several Albums, especially "Stan Freberg Presents The United States Of America" Great shot of her behind the Capitol records mic on one of the LP covers.
