We are a Part 15 AM station in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Went on the air a month ago. The transmitter is a AMT3000, and I would a coil on 3" PVC. The coverage is about a mile or two. I live 60 miles away and control the broadcast with VNCViewer on my home PC and the transmitter PC, and connected by the Internat.

My stream isnt close to 100%, my friend Dwayne is the IT guy, and he lives even further away from the city than I do. So the long distance has drawbacks, cuz its hard for us to be there and do stuff, like upgrade the router. Our connection is working but slow, but our next visit should get things going better.

So its been a challange in the transmitter/antenna/Earth ground area, as well as the Internet remote control department.

We play music and other MP3 audio using Winamp. But Dwayne is trying to get Zara to stream. Then we dill switch over to Zara on the transmitter PC.

Peace

The former SSGT Clay Moore
