It is apparently a Broadcast AM Processor a la the 222, and also appears to offer similar functionality, including internal compression, limiting, AGC and positive peak modulation to 127% (there are abbreviated operating instructions inside the cover, luckily). I found this in my storage locker as I was clearing it out - you know you have too much stuff when you find things you didn't know you had!
In any event, I'll give it a try with my Rangemaster and report back on the results.
