I do a daily 10-minute radio show that I don't do everyday.
Blare OnAir Lite is me speaking off the top and side of the head, about whatever happens to catch my attention.
In August it is far easier to sit and think about life than it is to get up and do anything about it, so I wondered:
If the first line from "Summertime" by George Gershwin were slowed down with a tool in Audacity the audio editing program so that it lasted a full 10-minutes, what would it sound like?
"Summertime When the Living Is Easy", 10-minute version, coming soon to Blare OnAir Lite.
Carl Blare said "I Got To Thinking..."
Is that dangerous?
Artisan Radio wonders (about thinking): "Is that dangerous?"
Answer: It can be.
Take the case of the Orange Dictator suddenly thinking that transgendered people should be excluded from the military or arrest suspects should have their heads banged on car doors or refugees from countries to the south need to be rounded up and caged.
It's all mean-spirited and unhelpful to the people being discriminated against.
All because the Twitter Toddler had a thought.
Thank God he does not have access to nuclear weapons.

Who...Carl or Trump?
That was certainly informative.
Summertime Serial
The first in a string of Summertime episodes is linked here, as we aim toward the objective described in the opening post.
Blare OnAir When the Living Is Easy
One could make an argument that the world is safer with Carl at the controls. Trump reminds me of General Ripper from Dr. Strangelove.
Radio8Z said, "That was certainly informative."
We all thank you for thinking so.
And Druid Hills Radio, I will never push the BIG BUTTON. Something like that would create way too much interference.
The Blare OnAir Lite show talked about stretching the opening line from the song Summertime - Summertime and the living is easy - to a full 10-minutes.
It's a done deal!
In fact, Programs 517, 518, and 519 form a Summertime Trilogy!
Life is very good right now.
