I've completed the first season of Free Thinker Radio! All 10 episodes have been recorded, and today, the 10th episode will be released.

So I ask you, my fellow low power broadcasters, how do you like the program? What changes do you want to see? Better audio? Different choice of songs? Let me know here, or email me at [email protected]

I think you should decide on the music, atrainradio, because then it will be something new and unexpected for me, the listener.

If you simply played what I liked, then it would sort of be my show, and I could just do a show and leave you out of the equation.

Thing is, we eventually get bored with ourselves and want to hear what other people are doing. That's why you need to be the decider and programmer of your show.

My job is to be the curious guy who listens to "find out what the other station is doing."

Ah yes that makes sense. I'll keep on picking the music myself. Keep that element of surprise going.

Able to get fellow part 15'ers playing my show, Carl?

Tomorrow evening (Saturday) is the next meeting of the ALPB (Association for Low Power Broadcasters) and I will ask about getting atrainradio's "Free Minds" program listed on thealpb.com list of programs by Part 15 stations.

I'm not sure, "Free Minds" might already be listed on there, I'll go over and look around.

Many Part 15 stations do their own programming and don't use much from other Part 15 stations, but I always encourage everybody to think about devoting a little bit of airtime to programs from other stations.

Another thing is that not many Part 15 stations actually produce programs for other stations to use, but maybe there will be more of that in the future.

One way or the other we will someday rule the world.

I wouldn't change anything.

I enjoyed it, and also - music that I

haven't heard before is a good thing,

I think.  I have gigantic gaps in my

musical knowledge

My son is a musician and sort of turned

me on to the fact that there are all sorts

of different genres and so many things

to hear.

So I say play whatever you want.

I don't have a Part 15 station now,

but someday I will.  In the meantime,

your show is great just to hear here.

Bruce

At tonight's ALPB Meeting we raised the proposal of linking atrainradio's "Free Minds For Free Thinkers" radio program on the ALPB official website, and everyone voted YES.

The production of original programming by part 15 stations is exactly in line with the original mission of the ALPB.

The next thing we will consider is making people like atrainradio "honorary members" of the ALPB for their contribution to the art of part 15 radio.

TO BE CORRECT: The actual name of atrainradio's program is "Free Radio For the Free Thinker."

Carl is known to occasionally get things mixed around, a description he denies.

Awesome, thanks carl! Though, that one hour show is simply called "Free Thinker Radio", and my own radio station is called "Free Radio for the Free Thinker"

Thats great!
Being a Ornery person myself i can relate. That is a high position to hold and not everyone can... *pauses mid speech and covers microphone* whispers What's that you say? *incoherent whispers* Oh, oh i see. Clears Throat and uncovers microphone.

Seems this announcer has his wires crossed and for that i apolagized ladies and gentlemen.
The correct title is Honorary  Member i *ahem* stand corrected.  Now here's something we hope you'll really like. *music plays*

Great show too, keep up the great work.
