Hello,
I am looking for someone to help me set up a microbroadcasting station. I am not even sure if it should be AM or FM.
I could pay someone to help me get this set up. I need this up and running in the next month.
Please contact me here if you are interested in helping me.
Thanks, great website!
Welcome to the forum.
A bit more detail about what you have in mind might help us help you. Are you needing help with one particular part of a station such as the transmitter or the entire setup?
There are assembled certified AM and FM transmitters available for purchase which would eliminate the need for you to build one from a kit. Generally, FM transmitters are easier to install than AM transmitters since the antenna and grounding is simpler in case this would influence your choice of AM or FM.
Many studio functions can be done with a computer which would reduce the complexity of the "audio chain" part of a part 15 station.
If you could post your approximate location there might be someone reading this forum who would be near enough to provide on site help if this is needed.
Many of us built our stations by ourselves and it is not too difficult to do so but like many endeavors it can help to draw on the knowledge and experience of someone who has already done this. If you cannot find someone who can be on site don't give up. Ask questions here and you will receive advice.

It would also help if you talked about what you hope to achieve. Range, audience, budgets (including whether you want to sell commercials or sponsorship, etc.). All these factors would go into determining what your final station might look like.
You've come to the right place, lots of help here. I couldn't have got up and running in anywhere near the time without these forums.
As mentioned, a lot depends on your goals, i.e.: Is it just for your own (and family) enjoyment around your house/property, or do you want to establish external listenership such as neighbors or community, or a commercial foray, etc.
E.g., if it's just for yourself, one of the better FM units might be the way to go. They can't have much range, but they are less susceptible to interference and can, of course, be stereo. OTOH, if range is an issue, like if you want to reach a small community, then AM is better because you can achieve significantly greater range under the current Part 15 rules, albeit an AM station can be more difficult to construct for that greater range, and/or be more costly ... depending on how much you are willing to learn and do yourself. But AM is more susceptible to interference issues, and trying to do AM stereo is basically futile except for experiments.
So, you kind of have to help the forum to help you ... if that makes sense.
