I may, or may have not, mentioned at some point that I had been seeking out a gospel music program or two to program on Sundays. My vintage country format lends itself to traditional gospel. After searching a lot, and sending many emails, I found:
www.gospelmemories.com
This is true vintage gospel music, in a show done every Saturday night in Chicago. I contacted the producer to inquire about broadcasting it on Part 15. He was very enthusiastic about the idea, and in fact was already distributing it to some internet radio stations. He was more than happy to add me to his distribution list, and encouraged me to share the info with other Part 15 operators, which I'm now doing.
So, if you're seeking an hour long Sunday program, and this sort of vintage sound fits your format, you might want to visit the website and drop him a line. Super nice guy.
Now if I can just find an old time/polka show for Saturday nights! I've got the records but not the time to do it live. I may load 'em into the computer over time and program my own polka show... if I have to!

Tim in Bovey I saw your posting at the other part15 site and realize your service area has a strongly Lutheran bent.
Aha! Well, there is a weekly show called THE LUTHERAN HOUR which I think you can easily get hold of.

Now on to the polka question. I also LOVE polka music!
I will help you search.
Wait here, I'll be back
The website archive.org is loaded with polka related programs and single selections.
One of my favorite bands is right here

I've tried to contact the Lutheran hour folks three times, no replies. the last time was just a coupe days ago, so we'll see.
Yeah, lots of Lutherans up here, and also Eastern Orthodox, or what we call Serbian. That's why I'm still playing Christmas music and have Serbian Christmas music and church programs lined up for the evening of 1/6 and 1/7, as the 7th is Serbian Christmas!
I've got a mountain of Polka records and could build a show easy enough. 35+ years ago I actually worked at a polka station! Hoping to find a good syndicated show. Round one, "It's Polka Time" but since it's carried by a commercial station 40 iles from here, I probably wo't be able to use it. Emailed him today. We'll see. Turns out we crossed paths at the polka station in St. Paul back around 1980!

I am listening to a Gospel Memories show and like it.
May consider adding it to my line-up. It is definitely different.
I've already contacted them and asked to carry it. Perfect for my station, which plays vintage jazz and obscure 50s and 60s pop music.
