Hello all, just a quick update on the 'bandwidth exceeded' errors - it would appear that Google is doing something a bit strange all of sudden. All of a sudden, about a month ago Google started crawling part15.us at an insane rate; 40Gb of traffic so far this month - that is more traffic than visitors. I keep upping the bandwidth limit so hopefully I will 'get above' the crawl rate this time - I appreciate your patience while I sort this one out.
Cheers!

Easter was canceled by the lack of this main website for part 15 radio people.
Most of us kept checking every 5-minutes to see if it was back on.
Thank you Jon Paul for getting the doors open so we can get back to living normal lives.
Yep, IMO Google is dangerous. It's virtually impossible to keep them out of your computer anymore.
A lot of googlebot connections come in all the time for my streaming servers, so I searched "googlebot" at Wikipedia and the information might be useful to anyone interested.
For example, here is one thing it says:
A problem which webmasters have often noted with the Googlebot is that it takes up an enormous amount of bandwidth.[citation needed] This can cause websites to exceed their bandwidth limit and be taken down temporarily. This is especially troublesome for mirror sites which host many gigabytes of data. Google provides "Webmaster Tools" that allow website owners to throttle the crawl rate.[7]
