Do I really need a THIRD one? No, but it's always tempting. This is a reasonable price for someone who would like one. Not *really* necessary for Part 15 AM as no one goes by the field strength rule, and instead goes by power input and antenna/ground length.  But still nice for checking your signal coverage.  Heck, I use one for checking monitor points at the directional AM I work for. Proves to be as accurate as the Potomac FIM-41 and their new 4100.  Note they only technically tune to 1600, but mine goes to 1620 no problem, but you're not going to get much higher than that with it.

I'm really kinda saving to blow $$ on a FIM-41 -- can use it for checking harmonics at work. The Nems Clarks don't tune high enough for that.

Darn -- It's tempting....

it excels at checking for carrier current compliance. it's sit's natively in the right frequency range for that,

the other pictures thread is linked to a craigslist posting with pictures of the unit i'm selling.
