When Allen Freed did a rock n' roll show in New York he kept the mic live during records and punched a big fat catcher's mit which caused the bass woofers to thump.
Ever since then I've meant to get a catcher's mit, but I don't have a rock n' roll show.

Trouble is I have a radio station that I listen to constantly.
If I tuned to other stations I'd miss all the programs that I scheduled for my listening pleasure.
Even though other stations also have good programming, like WCFI for example, my first loyalty goes with KDX Worldround Radio where I listen continuously.
That reality is what keeps most part 15 broadcasters from listening to each other's shows. They are busy running their own stations and have no spare time.
You've got to be your own listener.
Here's a thought. Add Free Thinker Radio as carried by WCFI to your lineup.
Then, you would be listening to your station and hearing FTR.
Many stations could and should do that, but KDX is in the lurch because we don't have licenses for streaming music records.
But the soon to come KHZ AM 1640, the dedicated Indoor Antenna Experimentation Station, will carry Part 15 and LPFM programming at all times, using an AMT3000 from SSTran.com.

Assuming networked programming is treated the same way, it hardly seems proper that royalty payments be duplicated. After all if 500 people listen to one station or 500 people each listen to one of 500 different stations (total 500 listeners) why should payment from every station be made.

True... whenever I've had a chance to sample an A-Train Show I have been impressed by the playlist and the jibber-jabber... it's good radio.
